- Apollo's Lichanos - "Legendary baton said to be the finger of Apollo, the god of music." - In Greek and Roman mythology, Apollo was a complex god who was a god of light and, indeed, music among many other things.[3] "Lichanos" was an indicator in Greek musical notation.[4]
